Mike Lehkamp Posted August 8, 2017 at 05:00 AM Posted August 8, 2017 at 05:00 AM If so, I have a suggestion/request that will benefit many. Us pilots must admit, there are the times when we leave our virtual flightdecks at cruise to attend to other matters such as let the dog out, eat dinner, whatever. Then we return to find out some controller popped on we didnt anticipate and as been dinging us for the last 20-30 minutes. Here's an idea. How about an app we log into with our VAT ID and p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word which allows controllers to send a ping to our phones via the app summoning us back to the flightdeck? Thoughts? I'm a pretty good programmer in EPL, C++, but have no knowledge or experience in creating apps or I would do it. Thimo Koolen Posted August 8, 2017 at 09:08 AM Posted August 8, 2017 at 09:08 AM If you're away, you can just disconnect from the server until you're back. ACCNL4 (Training Director) - Dutch VACC
Norman Blackburn Posted August 8, 2017 at 09:59 AM Posted August 8, 2017 at 09:59 AM In order for this to work it would have to be approved. The whole point of connecting to the network is to interact with others whilst learning. If you are going to be away more than a few minutes simply disconnect.
