Notable changes include an increase in direct flights to Europe, and several new freight destinations, such as Luxembourg and Madrid. The company previously operated flights to Europe using a technical stop in Miami. CEO Andrew De Forest commented "By flying directly to Europe and byp[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ing Miami, we can utilize our aircraft more efficiently and improve our route network." Pacific Logistics is also looking to expand their Asian-Pacific markets by increasing operations out of Hong Kong International Airport. The company added flights to Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, and Sydney from Hong Kong. ACMI Operations Pacific Logistics announced the ACMI placement of a Boeing 777 freighter with South African Airlines between Liège, Belgium and Johannesburg, South Africa. The aircraft will be operated by PacLog, and will fly on behalf of SAA Cargo through an aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance agreement. The service will begin in September 2017 and will run through September 2018 and fly twice-weekly. Fleet Additions Pacific Logistics has taken delivery of a new Boeing 777 Freighter aircraft. The aircraft represents the fourth 777F aircraft to be operated by PacLog, and the second aircraft of an eight aircraft order placed in January, 2015. The company operates another two other 777F aircraft on lease from Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings. N623PX, the latest 777F aircraft to join the Pacific Logistics fleet.
