You'll have to be more specific... SweatBox itself is just a server that is not linked to the rest of the servers. You use it the same way you use any of the other servers. I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume you are asking for instructions on a particular blip-generating software?

I am mentoring a couple students and need to set up a sweatbox session for them. I have participated in them as a student but know know how to run them and move a/c for my students.

Isn't that something your TA/instructor staff should be teaching as part of how to be a mentor?

At any rate, as mentioned above, Sweatbox is just a server - an empty server not connected to the other servers pilots/ATC use. So, step number one is to figure out which software you're going to be using to connect to that server to simulate pilots.

So does anyone have a direct answer? I too would be intrested in seeing a video on using twr trainer on Sweatbox (does that satisfy you nit pickers?)

This may come as a shock, but some places aren't very well staffed.

I got to the door!

Nit pickers? There are multiple software platforms that can be used on the Sweatbox server, and they are used for different things. People were just asking "which one are you interested in." The OP's question was almost as nebulous as asking "are there any tutorials on how to use VATSIM?" There's more information needed to give a good quality response.

I think Bradley hit the nail here. I have never come across a Sweatbox tutorial. At least in our division, it is just p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ed down from Training Director to individual mentors i.e. the mentors get mentored on how to use the software.

The only public docomeent we have in Scandinavia - we use Euroscope's simulator software - is this one here (startup guide for Euroscope). It tells you how to connect. However, you will need to use 'scenario files' which contain the traffic. These come from your Training Department and can be modified by the mentor to suit the training you want to do. They are essentially text files with lists of traffic. For more, see the Euroscope wiki under the 'simulator section' (first page linked).

More than that, I cannot help. The information should come from your Training Department.
