Peter Wachner Posted November 5, 2017 at 02:33 PM Posted November 5, 2017 at 02:33 PM Hello, is there any posibility to connect to the Net via the remote interface PC? I am running vPilot 2.1.7 in a network and only the remote PC is connected to the Net via WLAN. I don`t like to connect via the host interface where Prepar3d v4.1 is running. Thanks for any support! Ross Carlson Posted November 5, 2017 at 08:13 PM Posted November 5, 2017 at 08:13 PM No, the connection to the VATSIM server can only be made from the host. Out of curiosity, why don't you want to connect from the host? Peter Wachner Posted November 5, 2017 at 10:31 PM Author Posted November 5, 2017 at 10:31 PM Hi, thanks for the very quick response. Due to security reasons I am running Prepar3d 4.1 on a PC that has no permanent connection to the Internet. The Prepar3d 4.1 PC is running in a network. In this case it is very helpful to shut down any firewall and security protection. Only 1 PC in the network has a connection to the Internet and is protected state of the art.
