Hi. I'm a newbie so please be gentle. I run FS2002 with SB3 and i am having few problems with the comms and atc side of things. owever I don't seem to be able to see the otehr online pilot's aircraft. I know they are there because of the atc traffic. On at least one occasion, atc topld a pilot to use a specific taxiway and I shoudl have seen it taxi right past me...but I didn't see anythjing. I've looked under theFS2002 setting and the sb manual but i can't find anything. I'm guessing i've missed something

If anyone could help me out It would be very much appreciated.

Thanks guys and girls

Scott

Scott,

With FS2002 you must have it join the multiplayer session created by SB3.

I would also reccomend checking if you have Norton Antivirus installed I know this has caused some problems in the past, good luck, flying into pepeole without knowing it isn't good!

Thanks for the replies guys. So am I right in thinking that I start fs2002, create a flight, start SB3 then start a multiplayer session via FLIGHTS > Multiplayer?

Please pardon my ignorance.....

Ahhh. My apologies, just went back to the Squawkbox manual and I have to set up a multiplayer with "localhost" in the IP address then search? and select Squawkbox"......my apologies for missing that folks.

Hi Scott,

In this order :

1) Start FS

2) Start SB3

3) Connect to multiplayer using localhost(127.0.0.1) and search, then Join.

4) Connect to VATSIM

Just to explain what happens, SB3 creates the multiplayer game, not FS, so you need to join a multiplayer session rather than host one.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Paul
