Doug Davies 912491 Posted December 2, 2017 at 09:40 PM Posted December 2, 2017 at 09:40 PM When I try to open ServInfo, all I get is a blank home screen. I click on VATSIM to download the information and it says it can't find any servers. I try a bunch of different servers but still get nothing. Please help. Morten Jelle Posted December 5, 2017 at 04:44 PM Posted December 5, 2017 at 04:44 PM ServInfo is an old tool which is not updated anymore. I suggest you give Accomeap a try, or VATSpy. VATSpy is no longer updated unfortunately. There are however a few others, eg. Accomeap, vRoute and VATTASTIC. Board of Governors Anastasios Petros Stefopou Posted December 5, 2017 at 07:34 PM Board of Governors Posted December 5, 2017 at 07:34 PM I use servinfo since I joined VATSIM and I find it practical and easy to use. In case anyone is interested, there is an updated version for it here : http://www.vatsim-scandinavia.org/downloads/ServInfo_2010_VATSIM_update.rar There is .dat file in servinfo that you can open it with wordpad or notepad and edit manually in there airspaces, coordinates , callsigns etc. I think there are some posts in the forum related to it . If you can not still load any data, press Shift and simultaneously click on the "VATSIM" button. As Morten said, there are other tools available as well, if you would like to try another program. I hope this helps. ANASTASIOS STEFOPOULOSVice President | Asia Pacific Region [email protected] https://www.vat-apac.comspecialists.vat-apac.com How to become a Supervisor? Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted December 5, 2017 at 09:52 PM Board of Governors Posted December 5, 2017 at 09:52 PM I'm not familiar with the updated version that Anastasios referenced, and hopefully it works right away. But in case the server information doesn't load, you could try viewtopic.php?f=72&t=53274&start=75#p511069 Don Desfosse Vice President, Operations
Brad Littlejohn Posted December 6, 2017 at 01:39 AM Posted December 6, 2017 at 01:39 AM With ServInfo, you can force a reload of the newer servers by holding down the Shift key when you click on the VATSIM button. That should use the new list. If it pops up with that a server can't be found, have it try again by clicking on "use a different server." ServInfo definitely is old, but it still does work. BL.
