Andrew Gransden Posted January 10, 2018 at 01:53 PM Posted January 10, 2018 at 01:53 PM I have been trialling Euroscope 3.2 as an observer. I can see a list of the logged in users at the airport I am monitoring (EGCC) including other observers. However, my callsign does not appear and when I check with the VATMAP app I find I am located far away from the airport. What am I doing wrong? Trevor Hannant Posted January 10, 2018 at 02:52 PM Posted January 10, 2018 at 02:52 PM Do observers normally show on there? Or is it just controllers? Trevor Hannant
Thimo Koolen Posted January 10, 2018 at 03:09 PM Posted January 10, 2018 at 03:09 PM I never saw observers on things like vPilot and obviously you can't see yourself in Euroscope. ACCNL4 (Training Director) - Dutch VACC
Gergely Csernak Posted January 13, 2018 at 05:19 PM Posted January 13, 2018 at 05:19 PM Default center is coming from the SCT file. And observers should be visible for other controllers if not filtered out. Gergely. EuroScope developer
Jonas Kuster Posted January 15, 2018 at 10:41 PM Posted January 15, 2018 at 10:41 PM You won't see yourself in the list (why should you?). Set your visibility center using the .vis command: ".vis [FIX/APT/NAVAID]". Check your current visibility range with ".visrange". A (or multiple) yellow circle(s) will be drawn indicating your visibility range.
