Enrico Noia Posted February 1, 2018 at 06:33 PM Posted February 1, 2018 at 06:33 PM Hello, I usually control on my laptop with win7 installed and vATIS works fine. I've recently tried to start using my desktop computer and when I connect the ATIS it says "invalid frequency format" and I don't understand why. Facility and frequency are the same I use on Win7. Thank you, Enrico Noia
Tomas Hansson Posted February 1, 2018 at 10:02 PM Posted February 1, 2018 at 10:02 PM Shot in the dark here since I don't use vATIS but check your Windows regional settings and see if the decimal indicator is a dot (.) or comma (,). Switch them around and see if that helps! Tomas Hansson
Enrico Noia Posted February 2, 2018 at 07:56 PM Author Posted February 2, 2018 at 07:56 PM Thanks it was really this the problem. I didn't manage to solve it by changing the regional setting, but if I put a comma in the frequency instead of a dot, it works.
