Norman Blackburn Posted February 5, 2018 at 10:03 AM Posted February 5, 2018 at 10:03 AM Is there any reason you haven't opted to use vPilot which is much, much simpler to set up and use? Norman
James Jacklin Posted February 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM Author Posted February 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM I have setup Vpilot but I thought you had to have fscopilot and fsinn
Norman Blackburn Posted February 5, 2018 at 10:33 AM Posted February 5, 2018 at 10:33 AM No. They both do the same thing which is connect you to VATSIM. Since you have vPilot successfully installed you can safely ignore and uninstall any of the FSInn / FSCP stuff. Norman

GDPR-removed Posted February 5, 2018 at 06:50 PM Posted February 5, 2018 at 06:50 PM VATSpy is a standalone program which shows all connections (both pilot and ATC) to the network. By using this program, you'll know who is flying and controlling as well as where. You don't need it to connect to the network.
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted February 5, 2018 at 07:46 PM Board of Governors Posted February 5, 2018 at 07:46 PM Wow.... deja vu.... [quote name=Don Desfosse 1035677 in viewtopic.php?f=6&t=75673#p521336]Again, there's no such thing as "installing VATSIM". VATSIM is a network that allows members using different pilot clients and ATC clients to work together. To help you further, we need to know which simulator and pilot client you are using. VATSpy is a standalone program that simply aids your situational awareness by displaying online ATC and pilot traffic.
