[April 12, 18-20z] Minors on Stage - Stuttgart, Geneva +Graz

The Swabian Jura is too low? Why not flying to the Swiss Alps! From sparingly Swabians to the rich Genevan - in less than an hour. Or in the reverse direction from the scenic Lake Geneva to one of the biggest urban centers in Germany.

Thats now possible every second Thursday of the month from 18-20z with full ATC. vACC Switzerland and RG Frankfurt are proudly presenting the monthly connection between Stuttgart (EDDS) and Geneva (LSGG).

 

Exciting approaches, changing landscapes en-route and well trained controllers will make this trip a memorable one. So take your airliner or business jet - general aviation or scheduled flight - every pilot is welcome!

 

Addicted to hopping between minors? You get more of it now. Our Austrian colleagues are opening Graz (LOWG) in cooperation with this event. Give it a try.

Austrian controllers told me they were not aware of this event therefore no ATC coverage for Graz airport but I flew from EGKK to LOWG Graz for this event anyway to show support for Graz event.

 

Vienna international airport LOWW APP controller was very kind to provide me via Pilot Client v2's private messaging system plenty of advices on how to approach Graz while avoiding high mountains and the LOWW APP was very kind to tell me how high the mountains were and how low I could descend to on way to LOWG Graz. It was like having ATC coverage for LOWG and LOWW APP was very very helpful to make sure my flight was safe all the way to GRAZ runway!!
