Saturday Night Ops

Sounds Air

Saturday 26th May 2018 1900-2300 NZST / 1700-2100 AEST / 0700-1100 UTC

Sounds air is a small airline operating mainly out of Wellington International Airport (NZWN). Today we will fly some of their routes.

Option 1: Nelson (NZNS)

Option 2: Napier (NZNR)

Option 3 Woodbourne (NZWB)

Option 4: Another Sounds Air route

Fly between any of the three airports in any direction and enjoy this small airline's routes. All airports are controlled however both Napier and Nelson are procedural airports. The Sounds Air fleet includes: Cessna Caravans and Pilatus PC12s although you might like to fly something else. The event can be flown in any aircraft up to the size of an A320/B738 so join us in anything that you'd like that's medium weight category.

 

Please note that Nelson is surrounded in hills in all directions except north of the aerodrome with some hills extending up to 6000ft!
