Hello everyone,

I have been flying on VATSIM for quite a while now and from time to time I like to visit hispanic countries. As I am pretty fluent in spanish and because I am looking for a new challenge, I was trying to search for a sample for IFR phraseology in Spanish. Apparently, I can only find snippets of phraseology but not a full example dialogue. Can anybody help me by linking me a standard phraseology sheet or something like that? Does that even exist?

Thank you in advance,

Alexander Taschner

Hello Alexander!

I do know that one of our visitor controllers at Spain wrote a Spanish-English ATC guide which I got to check. I'll try to get him over here, maybe he can share it with the community

The Bolivian FIR has also got a manual which you may wanna have a look at.

Me.

Hi Alexander,

The docomeent Nestor speaks of is ths one:

https://docs.google.com/docomeent/d/1uTZdIZPwebRomW-vgGxgz8ba4kAUd3DCjbHZjpnt0Zk/edit?usp=sharing

which is what I wrote initially trying to learn to control in Spanish, it's based on the phrase examples from the "official" Spanish ATC guide, with a few more useful things, and less of the very specific things. However, it's in my note format, so very confusing. I've also written this one during my actual controlling with the most used phrases from an ATC persopective (the spelling/grammar in Spanish is rather strange in places, but you should at least be understanding how to say it):

I hope it's useful for you

Alex
