Sherman Kaplan Posted June 2, 2018 at 05:43 PM Posted June 2, 2018 at 05:43 PM Greetings all, I have W10 and P3D v4. I am a member of DC3Airways. Our pilots fly multiplayer using VPilot. I would like to do the same. The VATSIM dedicated Vpilot loads without difficulty. However there is another version created by Roy Carlson that enables the addition of outside IP sources. when I try to boot that version I get the following message System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or [Mod - Happy Thoughts]embly 'Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback, Version=1.0.2902.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. File name: 'Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback, Version=1.0.2902.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' at dq..ctor(af A_0) Without access to VPilot, I can no longer fly our MP sessions, unless I go back to FSX, which is linked by FSINN to our flights. I hope someone can [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist me with this issue. Thanks in advance. Sherman Kaplan DCA662

What do you mean by "outside IP sources", do you mean other computers on your network? Might seem a bit obvious, but have you tried downloading or updating DirectX. Sherman Kaplan Posted June 3, 2018 at 12:10 AM Author Posted June 3, 2018 at 12:10 AM Hi Kieran Thanks for the quick response. As it turns out. A couple of fellow Pilots at DCA led me to link to a post elsewhere by someone with the exact same problem . There was a solution there and it did involve installation of a different version of DX.... now, I am working with another man at DCA to resolve and set up a correct vmr file. Again, thanks for your suggestion. Sherm
