Morocco vACC is looking for following position to be filled up by professional candidates.

 

Event Director

 

Here are few details to see if you qualify for the post:

 

Outline of responsibilities:

 

Facilitate the smooth and active operation of the vACC Events.

Responsible for the regular organizing, promotion and the execution of the vACC events.

Initiate collaboration with other VATSIM vACC’s and Divisions for events on behalf of Morocco vACC.

Develop relationships with other VATSIM vACC’s and VA’s and as well as provide support for their events.

Actively promote Morocco vACC through VATSIM Forums and by communicating with VA’s and send them invitations.

Promote events of Morocco vACC through social media, VATME HQ, VATSIM Forums and others ( Vattastic, vroute )

Must maintain the Morocco vACC Facebook page and update it with new events.

Make Quarterly reports of the Events and submit it to the vACC Director.

Send out emails to the vACC Members ( Pilots/ATC ) and keep them updated about the events.

Maintain the vACC Events on VATME HQ

Maintain the ATC Roster for the events on the HQ.

Maintain effective communication and work closely with other staff members.

 

Position Requirements:

 

Currently holding a controller rating of S1 or above.

Having a good disciplinary record on VATSIM.

Must be a VATSIM Member for at least 2 years.

Committed to maintain a strong presence on VATSIM while holding the staff position.

Must spend at least 4-5 hours per week for Event duties.

Previous experience within any vACC or VA will be considered as a plus point.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both internally and externally, including on various VATSIM platforms and social media.

Proficiency in English is a must as it is the working language of the VACC. Any other language would be considered as a plus.

Must have good knowledge about creating banners for the event on any of the photo editing software.
