Rita Brunner 1425158 Posted June 29, 2018 at 03:49 PM Posted June 29, 2018 at 03:49 PM Hello, I am a new student pilot in the VATSIM community. I would like to know if someone has great tips on how to interpret airspace and VFR charts in order to be able to better plan my next flights. Thank you for your help. Regards, Rita B. Randy Tyndall 1087023 Posted June 29, 2018 at 04:57 PM Posted June 29, 2018 at 04:57 PM Welcome to VATSIM, Rita. I think you are going to enjoy your time here. I would start here with the AOPA website and head to the training and safety tab. https://www.aopa.org/training-and-safety/students/crosscountry/special/aeronautical-charts Lots of short videos explaing a lot of aspects of the processes involved with flying VFR. Pretty sure others will lead you to others as well. Also consider looking in to VATSTAR. Randy Randy Tyndall - KBOI ZLA I-11/vACC Portugal P4 “A ship is always safe in the harbor.
