Justin Cook 1422192 Posted August 3, 2018 at 06:05 PM Posted August 3, 2018 at 06:05 PM I am all set to go but need some serious help just getting the flight plan ready and actually leaving the airport. I'm running FSX and have a headset but don't know how to call for a flight plan or take a flight plan I'm giving and entering it into Flight Sim. Can anybody meet me somewhere on Vatsim or is there an ATC controller that has time to take me to a small airport and help me get going. I get frustrated and just sign off. Also I would recommend looking in to some of the training available - I highly recommend the P1 course as a starting point as this will answer many of the queries you will have as a new member and get you on your way. http://ptd.vatsim.net and http://ptd.vatsim.net/atos for a list of approved training organisations.
