Steve Ogrodowski 876322 Posted June 20, 2006 at 04:31 AM Posted June 20, 2006 at 04:31 AM Hello Everyone: Whether or not you all have heard, KCLE and KDTW have undergone many changes since 08 June. Both airports had their airspace adjusted and changed a bit. They retired several STARs and SIDs and commisioned several new ones. By default, Flight Simulator does not have the fixes contained on the new procedures. To remedy this problem, I have created a BGL scenery file that contains the necessary data to include these fixes. In total, this scenery adds 55 new fixes contained on both airports' new procedures. The file is 2kb, and is located on AVSIM. It is fully compatible and tested with FS9, and FS2002 compatibility is not guaranteed. It is highly encouraged that all pilots who fly Cleveland or Detroit airspace, or any pilots interested in flying our airspace , download and install this simple, measly update. It will enable you to fly our new STARs and SIDs, and it will help lessen the frustration of controllers dealing with old and new procedures. All the charts for the new procedures are available through myairplane.com. Any charts that you cannot access because they were "deleted" are ones that have been retired, and should no longer be used. If you know you do not have the new scenery, just advise our ATC, and they will accomodate you as best as possible! We have a NOTAM on our website, and our Forums are always open if ever you have questions or problems. Thank you for flying Cleveland, and thank you for downloading our update!
