Please join the OAKLAND ARTCC in hosting a TRACON TUESDAY event. Our controllers are keen to get some practice in and open up as many of the NorCAL sectors, and coordinate aircraft through the northern Californian airspace. We will plan to have NorCAL online for you, with the support of the surrounding towers (Cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] D). We will be online for a few hours feel free to bring some GA traffic or some scheduled airline flights. Choose between small hops between the featured fields or conduct a Bay Tour with a Bravo airspace transition (A popular route).

 

The choice is yours. Come hang with us and hope to see as many of you as we can!

 

Staffing will commence from 1800 PDT and go to 2100 PDT. (0100z-0400z).

 

Featured Towered Fields:

CL[Mod - Happy Thoughts] D

LVK – Livermore

MOD – Modesto

SQL – San Carlos

PAO – Palo Alto

HWD – Hayward Executive

Depending on numbers we may add a few more towers closer to the event.

Kicking off in a few hours - hope to see plenty of traffic. Weather looks pretty interesting out there, lots of wind and cloud for the VFR traffic to navigate. Also please leave feedback and tell us what you think if you come fly with us! Cheers
