Can someone help me on how to get those views that are in screens ? The ones with the ground up views and the ones with the runway view with the plane coming down on top. Can i use Fs or is there something that Iam missing ? Also is there any way to fix that pushback problem in FS where the plane only goes striaght back inside of turning to line up with the taxiway ? Any help on any problem will help.

Hello Andrew ,

If you go to outside view in flightsim , you can move around your aircraft and alter the view . This is accomplished by using the Point Of View hat on your joystick , or the up / down / left / right arrows on your keyboard . As for the pushback , to make the aircraft move backwards , hit SHIFT P , this will reverse the aircraft in a straight line . To make it turn left or right , hit the 1 or 2 key immediately after using the SHIFT P command , and it will turn to the left or right , but only AFTER the aircraft has travelled one planes length ( so a Cessna will turn in a second or two , a 747 may take 4-5 seconds to start the turn ) .

Ross,

Thanks for the help but one thing , I know that the num pad does the views outside but only top angle looking down and the sides and front and back. But how do you get it to do the bottom up or ground looking to the sky. Because to look down form the sky you do 5 and a number around it. On the arrow keys I thought that was for the flight controls, I have a joystick but the arrow keys still have some affect on the control. Is that whats keeping me from doingthat view.

I think you're looking for "Top-Down" view, which can be reached by pressing Ctrl + S.

What you need to do is open the map in FS and drag the tower icon to where you want the camera to be. You can set the altitude of the camera as well.
