Joseph Pentz Posted October 7, 2018 at 04:12 PM Posted October 7, 2018 at 04:12 PM Hello All, I am trying to get tower view working with VPilot and ES but once I get connected to the Network via Proxy as .towerview things go awry. It seems as though it will populate the aircraft nearby but not model match so they are just not showing up at all. I am using the BVAI Package recently released and I have photos of the rulesets I have implemented for it but it seems to not work. It also is not populating the data of what model aircraft the callsign is which could be the issue. Any help would be appreciated http://prntscr.com/l38c49 http://prntscr.com/l38cdv http://prntscr.com/l38cjy
Ross Carlson Posted October 7, 2018 at 05:09 PM Posted October 7, 2018 at 05:09 PM Looks like ES is not sending the plane information packet (which contains the aircraft's type code) through the proxy connection to vPilot. I suggest reaching out to the ES devs. Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC

Joseph Pentz Posted October 7, 2018 at 09:53 PM Author Posted October 7, 2018 at 09:53 PM Ross, Loaded up VSTARs and the issue resolved and everything loaded properly. Has to be a EuroScope Issue
Bjoern Helge Smaavollan Posted October 16, 2018 at 09:59 PM Posted October 16, 2018 at 09:59 PM You need at least euroscope version 3.2 beta r12 for it to work. The model info parsing was introduced with r12 version http://euroscope.hu/installbeta/changes.html
Damian Newell Posted February 15, 2021 at 05:42 PM Posted February 15, 2021 at 05:42 PM I seem to be having this issue with MSFS2020 - see below from VPILOT with data being fed through Euroscope, no aircraft information? I'm running v3.2 and latest vPilot.
