Juergen Mader Posted October 13, 2018 at 10:41 AM Posted October 13, 2018 at 10:41 AM Hi, I am trying to install vPilot ver. 2.1.11 in my P3Dv4 simulator. The installation seems to be alright, however when I start vPilot, I get the following error: "Unhandled exception: Unable to obtain public key for StrongNameKeyPair" Any help would be appreciated Brgds Juergen Mader
Norman Blackburn Posted October 13, 2018 at 02:48 PM Posted October 13, 2018 at 02:48 PM Hi Jürgen, A quick search of this very forum for StrongNameKeyPair would show the answer. Run vPilot as Administrator. Norman

Dhruv Kalra Posted October 13, 2018 at 11:49 PM Posted October 13, 2018 at 11:49 PM Not to defend the lack of reading, but running vPilot as an Administrator isn't a long-term viable solution. The whole push moving forward with Windows and UAC controls is that we should be avoiding the blanket fix of having to run every simulation-related program as an Administrator.
