Gary Stafford 896768 Posted October 19, 2018 at 04:12 PM Posted October 19, 2018 at 04:12 PM I tried to connect vPilot last night and got the following error. Error performing version check. The remote name could not be resolved. 'vpilotapi.metacraft.com' I am running vPilot across two PC's. The main FSX PC is running "Host" and the 2nd PC is running "Remote". It's been a couple of months since I connected but it worked ok last time and now it's throwing the error and won't connect. I looked through the FAQ but couldn't find a solution. Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, GS
Ross Carlson Posted October 19, 2018 at 05:56 PM Posted October 19, 2018 at 05:56 PM Are you saying you can't connect to the network? (If the version check fails, that alone does not prevent a connection to the network.) Gary Stafford 896768 Posted October 20, 2018 at 03:11 AM Author Posted October 20, 2018 at 03:11 AM Last night it wouldn't connect to a vatsim server, it kept timing out. Tonight it's working great. Guess the server I was trying to connect to had a problem. All seems to be ok now. Thanks, GS
