Robert Bressert Posted October 25, 2018 at 05:36 PM Posted October 25, 2018 at 05:36 PM I get this warning when I fly the Feelthere E175. I type E75L into the Type Code on the Connect window: and then I get: First, just to make sure the type code for an E175 is E75L, right? Second, I use FLAi for model matching, so the E75L should be in the FLAi library, right? Thanks for your help.
1275389 Posted October 25, 2018 at 05:47 PM Posted October 25, 2018 at 05:47 PM E75L is the correct type code for the Embraer 175 with the longer wing.
Robert Bressert Posted October 25, 2018 at 06:03 PM Author Posted October 25, 2018 at 06:03 PM So, is the Feelthere E175 the longer wing. I always thought it was, and even if it wasn't why am I getting the warning that an E75L is an unknown type code?
Ross Carlson Posted October 25, 2018 at 06:34 PM Posted October 25, 2018 at 06:34 PM That must be a new type code that isn't in vPilot's database. I'll add it. You can just ignore the warning for now. Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
Robert Bressert Posted October 25, 2018 at 06:40 PM Author Posted October 25, 2018 at 06:40 PM Well, just so you know, when on the connect window, when I type E75L into the type code window, a drop down menu appears, just as with other aircraft, which gives me the E75L option. It seems to me, if it gives me this option, it must be in the database.
Ross Carlson Posted October 25, 2018 at 07:03 PM Posted October 25, 2018 at 07:03 PM It's a little confusing, but there are essentially two databases ... one that is used for searching and populating that dropdown, the other is for model matching. I need to update the model matching database. (I'm also going to merge these two databases into one at some point.) Robert Bressert Posted October 25, 2018 at 08:20 PM Author Posted October 25, 2018 at 08:20 PM Thanks, Ross. BTW, I don't think I've said thank you for Vpilot. Thank you so much. We may not communicate it to you as we should, but we appreciate all you've done for us. Thanks!!!
