Daniel Gomes Announces Retirement from Board of Governors

VATSIM’s Vice President of Membership, Daniel Gomes, has announced his intent to retire from the Board of Governors after four years leading one of the most vital departments on VATSIM.

 

Daniel has put in countless hours serving the network in the membership department for over 10 years. Prior to serving on the Board of Governors, he was a membership manager and was promoted to becoming a team leader.

 

Under Daniel’s leadership, the membership department has become more organized, stronger and more efficient. The membership team has grown and is able to handle the large volume of requests it receives in a smaller amount of time than ever before.

 

While Danel is retiring from the Board of Governors, he does not intend to retire from VATSIM itself. He has been a member since the SATCO days and is looking forward to flying and controlling the Portuguese skies for years to come!

 

The Founders and the Board of Governors thank Daniel for his dedicated and selfless service to VATSIM and its members over the past 10 years. Please join us in wishing him a happy retirement!
