VATSIM Map tool - asking questions / offering suggestions

Hello all

I've been a while from VATSIM (for way too long) and have just entered this forum, so forgive me my forum-noob-mistakes here. I'm just getting started.

 

QUESTIONS:

1. Where can I ask questions about VATSIM Map tool?

2. Is it oke to offer suggestion (for new features) to the VATSIM map tool?

3. If yes -> What is the best place to put the suggestions:

-> in this forum?

-> via email ?

Thank you Magnus, for your reply and pointing me to the Accomeap project, which looks great by the way.

 

QUESTION:

- Is Accomeap officially going to replace the map.vatsim.net chart as in next generation Vatsim map?

- Or is it intended to be (just) another (great) tool to look at / monitor the Vatsim network?

- Option 3,4,?

for the time being I'd suggest you have a look at

 

- Accomeap (you did already)

- Qutescoop (not a website, but a freeware tool to check current online status, ATC bookings, retrieve flightplan routes) https://sourceforge.net/projects/qutescoop/

- VatSpy http://www1.metacraft.com/VATSpy/

 

I personally use Qutescoop all the time. I like its way to display information, its flexibility, the ATC bookings, the flightplans etc.

Hello Andres, Thank you for the references to the available other Vatsim map tools:

- [x] Downloaded VatSpy.

- [x] Downloaded QuteScope.

I personally use Qutescoop all the time. I like its way to display information, its flexibility, the ATC bookings, the flightplans etc.

Yeap It's a great tool, with lots of nice configurable options thanks!
