I have suddenly encoubtered a problem i NEVER HAD BEFORE...when I use the virtual cockpit view I am only able to move the view in the vertical. When I attempt to pan to the sides the view trembles and will not move. This happens with keyboard and coolie hat switch.

I checked the joystick [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignments to see if there was a double [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignment to that switch (how that would have happened would have been a huge mystery in and of itself) and there was no conflict there. I also tried to reset the [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignment and that had no effect either.

Anyone with insight would be appreciated.

This would happen if you installed something like FSCopilot head-latency effect. Your "head" would move in the direction you're flying without the need for panning. (easily checked by applying rudder - does your view swing left or right?) Activecamera has this feature too but that one does not lock the pan-function.

Did you install something like this?

The only addon of that nature is Natural Point's Track IR. I had it previously installed as well with no problems and after the re-install it also does not respond properly...it randomly and rapidly flips thru all the views. I thought this might be a result of the panning problem but I see now that perhaps it may be the cause. I will ubinstall...see if the problem disappears and then try re-install...Indeed, that was the problem!

I will carefully reinstall TrackIR and everything should be ducky.

Thaks for the thought.
