Eduardo Meza 966146 Posted July 11, 2006 at 08:37 AM Posted July 11, 2006 at 08:37 AM Is VRC to be used ONLY with multiple monitors? Or can it be used also with one monitor? I'm just starting as a controller but I have ONE monitor only. I'm using ASRC at the moment and I foun out that many controllers use VRC, so it kind of got me the curiosity to try it out. But as Ross says in the VRC home page: "VRC has been designed from the beginning for use on systems with multiple monitors" And that's the reason of my post. Just want to clear out that doubt Thanks! Johnathan McKiney 973523 Posted July 11, 2006 at 09:05 AM Posted July 11, 2006 at 09:05 AM I've heard we'll eventually have to pick up ASRC eventually, to use The SweatBox with our instructors.. Either way is okay, I s'pose. Like they say, it's all about preference.
Dominic Manning 811381 Posted July 11, 2006 at 11:27 AM Posted July 11, 2006 at 11:27 AM VRC can be used by people with single moniter systems, but it is better to have two or three moniters. I'd also say VRC is easier to use then ASRC. In any case, download it, try it and make your own decision. ASRC and VRC can be installed together with no problems. And VRC uses the same hotkeys where posible to ease the transition for you.

Brian Fuller 973577 Posted September 7, 2006 at 03:03 PM Posted September 7, 2006 at 03:03 PM I am using VRC with a Widescreen monitor. I can manage the windows pretty good with it. Only big window is the Flight Strip, other than that, it can be arranged well.
