Cornell Lloyd 952716 Posted July 16, 2006 at 06:42 AM Posted July 16, 2006 at 06:42 AM I don't have Norton enabled or anything like that. It used to work, then it stopped. Any suggestions on what it could be? Thanks. It works with a select few now, but fewer than before.

Do the other G-G calls work, like override and monitor? Any firewall's running (including the windows firewall)? If yes what program? Do you have a router? If yes what model? Cornell Lloyd 952716 Posted July 16, 2006 at 04:37 PM Author Posted July 16, 2006 at 04:37 PM Windows Firewall is off Very few intercom/overide/monitors work I have no routers XP DSL Connection Skype (heard that may have something to do with it) It used to work perfectly, but then it stopped. Does having ASRC have something to do with it?
Wycliffe Barrett Posted August 21, 2006 at 10:15 AM Posted August 21, 2006 at 10:15 AM I have Skype that isn't a problem. I have Windows Messenger Live, No problem. I have Yahoo Messenger, No problem I have Firefox and Thunderbird, No problem. My Firewall is activated, no problem. My AVG is on, no problem. I'm on DSL Cable, no problem. I've had ASRC on my PC at the same time, no problem. I have Windows XP Home, No problem. Actually I have never had any problems since install, of VRC, and in my book if it ain't broken don't fix it. The only thing I can suggest is uninstall VRC, remove any mention of VRC from your registry and start again. Michael Hodge Jr 961044 Posted August 21, 2006 at 02:10 PM Posted August 21, 2006 at 02:10 PM Cornell, I think it may have something to do with who your intercoming. I know that if the person your trying to intercom/etc, is using asrc and your using vrc, they have problems "communicating" I think if i remember reading the post correctly you have to set up port fowarding. http://www.zidartcc.org/zid/myzid/forum/viewpost.php?id=267 Check that out, that should fix it! -Mike Michael D. Keith Smith Posted August 22, 2006 at 03:46 PM Posted August 22, 2006 at 03:46 PM When you make an intercom call, it's makes a peer to peer connection with that person. That is, you're making a direct connection to their computer. If their firewall/port forwarding isn't right, you could have a perfect setup on your end, but it's still not going to work. This is probably why you're able to talk to some controllers, but not others.
