Eduardo Passos Posted March 17, 2019 at 09:24 PM Posted March 17, 2019 at 09:24 PM Installed vATIS by default (.../AppData/Roaming/vATIS) and everything seemed ok, even shortcut to desktop. While trying to run it for 1st time it doesn't run and closes window. Need help here. Justin Shannon Posted March 19, 2019 at 12:28 AM Posted March 19, 2019 at 12:28 AM When you say "doesn't run and closes window" do you mean that the vATIS window appears but then abruptly closes? Or does it not open at all? Can you look for an exceptions log file in the vATIS installation directory? What are your system specs (i.e. operating system, hardware, etc)? Do you have any anti-virus software running? If so, can you try whitelisting all of the vATIS components and try again? Eduardo Passos Posted March 21, 2019 at 03:52 PM Author Posted March 21, 2019 at 03:52 PM Tks for answering. Uninstalled and installed it again, a shortcut is created in desktop. From desktop vATIS opens a vATIS.exe but trying to run it nothing happens as if there is no program at all. It generates no log at all (directory is empty). The strange part is, it worked just a few weeks ago, and now, even trying with ADM mode, it doesn't load at all without any message or status at task manager. I even disconected the antivirus, but again no effect. In fact Norton says vATIS is a stable and reliable exe. I've already uninstalled and reinstaled, no effect at all. I have an i7 with 8Ghz RAM using windows 10 Thanks, Fernando Francesconi VATBRZ Controller
Eduardo Passos Posted April 25, 2019 at 04:13 PM Author Posted April 25, 2019 at 04:13 PM Sorry about delayed answer. Was away after suffering surgery. Like I wrote above: Win 10 Pro 64bit + GeForce GTX1070 + 3 SSD 1TB Samsung Iobit Malware Fighter + AvancedSystemCare + Windows Defender. Description: Have vATIS installed by default and there is a shortcut in desktop. When clicking on it, while trying to run it simply closes. Richard Gerrish Posted April 26, 2019 at 06:48 AM Posted April 26, 2019 at 06:48 AM you might check the event viewer and see if there is an error code and description for the crash. To access the Event Viewer in Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Server 2012 R2: Right click on the Start button and select Control Panel > System & Security and double-click Administrative tools Double-click Event Viewer Select the type of logs that you wish to review (ex: Application, System) To access the Application Logs once in Event Viewer, go to Windows Logs > Application. Find the error for Vatis and left click on the entry to view it. To access the Event Viewer in Windows 7: Click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools Double-click Event Viewer Select the type of logs that you wish to review (ex: Windows Logs) To access the Application Logs once in Event Viewer, go to Windows Logs > Application Find the error for Vatis and left click on the entry to view it.
