Hello, I'm a new member at VATSIM, but I'm from Brazil. However, my personal desire is to control on U.S.A., not within Brazil. Can I be a VATUSA's member even if I am brazilian?

Kind regards

Yup

I guest control in the US, but I'm from Canada

The only thing that matters is which region you have selected - in this case, "North America - United States" which is proper for what your plans are

I did that.

Thank you Matthew. I'll wait for VATUSA welcome e-mail.

Felipe - I live in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) and have always been a member of VATUSA. I know lots of other "foreigners" who are members of VATUSA.

Everyone is welcome!

Hi Felipe and Welcome to VATSIM!

What everyone else has told you is true. It does not matter where you live, you can pick whatever region you wish and join any ARTCC/ACC/FIR within that region to work ATC. Have fun!

However, all foriegners must have a security interview with customs as well as gain a VISA to work in the US nah not really lol

I've known people from all over the place to control in different countries, I believe there are a few American controllers who control in Europe and vice versa

Can I become Member as pilot of e.g. VATRUS even when I´m member of VACC-SAG at the same time? Sometimes you cannot use all benefits like downloads or flightbooking when you are not a member.

You don't join regions or divisions to fly. You just file your plan and go where you like.
