Felipe Santos 974455 Posted July 18, 2006 at 08:05 AM Posted July 18, 2006 at 08:05 AM Hello, I'm a new member at VATSIM, but I'm from Brazil. However, my personal desire is to control on U.S.A., not within Brazil. Can I be a VATUSA's member even if I am brazilian? Kind regards
Matthew Horan 901577 Posted July 18, 2006 at 08:09 AM Posted July 18, 2006 at 08:09 AM Can I be a VATUSA's member even if I am brazilian? Yup I guest control in the US, but I'm from Canada The only thing that matters is which region you have selected - in this case, "North America - United States" which is proper for what your plans are Matt www.vatsim.net/prc

George Marinakis Posted July 18, 2006 at 05:34 PM Posted July 18, 2006 at 05:34 PM Hi Felipe and Welcome to VATSIM! What everyone else has told you is true. It does not matter where you live, you can pick whatever region you wish and join any ARTCC/ACC/FIR within that region to work ATC. Have fun! George S. James Brickell 852953 Posted July 27, 2006 at 01:41 AM Posted July 27, 2006 at 01:41 AM You don't join regions or divisions to fly. You just file your plan and go where you like.
