Blake Renton 1356210 Posted April 17, 2019 at 06:21 PM Posted April 17, 2019 at 06:21 PM I am running Wine on MX Linux 18.2. VRC opens and operates as expected, with the exception of the radar scope. I am almost certain that it has something to do with OpenGL integration, with the error of Can't find a suitable PixelFormat being displayed after selecting the session profile. This laptop is running on integrated graphics, using the i915 kernel drivers. It seems that some users have been able to use it, according to it's entry on WineHQ. Reese Norris 1401247 Posted April 18, 2019 at 08:17 PM Posted April 18, 2019 at 08:17 PM Your best bet might be to run a windows virtual machine with VirtualBox, (with the Guest Additions for VirtualBox installed... allows VB to process more graphics) and run VRC on there. You could always run the virtual machine then connect to it with a remote desktop client, if the default "virtual monitor" isn't working for you. I've successfully ran VRC in a similar circomestance that I described above (the radar scope worked).
