Dino Topic 994733 Posted April 29, 2019 at 07:15 PM Posted April 29, 2019 at 07:15 PM Hello, the setup I have is P3Dv4, but also a "virtual" P3Dv3 installation to trick some of the older installers into installing sceneries into v4, however..that seems to cause vPilot to detect v3 as a sim, but because there's nothing there, clicking Apply causes yet another error of a missing default model. Is there a way to force vPilot to ignore v3?
Ross Carlson Posted April 29, 2019 at 07:23 PM Posted April 29, 2019 at 07:23 PM You would have to remove the registry entry that stores the install location, or remove/rename the installation folder, or remove/rename the prepar3d.cfg file. You could also just copy the default model from v4 to v3 so that vPilot finds it. Ulrich Karp Posted June 29, 2019 at 09:57 AM Posted June 29, 2019 at 09:57 AM Had the same problem (corrupted FSX installation here). Renaming FSX.cfg did help. The entry "Model Matching (FSX)" has disappeared, thanks
