Pascal Gluth 1433997 Posted May 18, 2019 at 08:37 AM Posted May 18, 2019 at 08:37 AM Hi, I installed a Model Matching Pack (http://flai.bvartcc.com/) and then I went to the Model Matching setting in vPilot and I clicked on Scan. It always stops and doesnt continue at 90 of 90. Then it says 250 Models found, 208 Models identified. But when I now go in P3D and connect to VATSIM every airplane is either the default Wordliner A320 or a completely white CRJ. I have AI traffic in P3D disabled. Did I do something wrong in the installation? Because the flai Model Matching comes with an installer and it installs it in P3D for you. So I only have to click on "Scan" in vPilot, right? Robert Shearman Jr Posted May 18, 2019 at 01:01 PM Posted May 18, 2019 at 01:01 PM I'm not in front of my computer, but, I'm pretty sure you also have to activate the model matching rule set. If you go under settings, and model matching, then add rule, you should be able to point vpilot to the new models and the rules it will use to determine which ones to represent other players with. Cheers, -R.
Pascal Gluth 1433997 Posted May 18, 2019 at 08:00 PM Author Posted May 18, 2019 at 08:00 PM I already fixed it. I had to go in the FLAi installer and click "update" then it download for 2 hours. Now in vPilot it says "4048 Models loaded".
Ross Carlson Posted May 18, 2019 at 09:15 PM Posted May 18, 2019 at 09:15 PM You still need to add the model matching rules file in the advanced model matching settings tab (if it's not there already) in order to get all the features of FLAi's custom model matching.
