This month our fly-in will be joining in on the VatUSA event, Chicago-Cincy Crossfire. Looking back at our previous events, we have never flown into Cincinnati.

 

Ironically Cincinnati Airport KCVG isn’t even in Cincinnati or Ohio for that matter. It is across the Ohio River and Ohio state line in Kentucky near the city of Covington, Kentucky and that is where the airport’s code CVG originates from.

 

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is a major hub for regional carriers and is currently the fastest growing cargo airport in North America with DHL and Amazon both operating major hubs out of KCVG making it the 4th busiest cargo airport in North America.

 

Canadian Xpress would like to invite all pilots to join us on Saturday, June 22nd between 10h00edt (14h00z) to 13h00edt (17h00z) and from 21h00edt (Sunday 01h00z) to 24h00z (Sunday 04h00z) for our June 2019 fly-in where we will fly from Chicago (KORD) to Cincinnati (KCVG).

 

For the full ATC experience, you may want to depart one hour earlier than usual.

 

This is an open invitation to all pilots no matter what your flying experience to attend this Canadian Xpress event that will be flown on the VATSIM network.

 

One lucky Canadian Xpress pilot will win:

Today, at 14.00zulu many pilots were in KORD to attend the event....but...

no ATC online in Chicago and in Cincy for all the duration of the flight up to 1530z when me and many other have completed the flight.
