Kolby Dunning Posted June 15, 2019 at 03:14 PM Posted June 15, 2019 at 03:14 PM I see from an old forum that on VRC, controller can monitor UNICOM. Is it a possibility to do that on Euroscope, it would really help especially on lower positions to know whats going on, even being able to broadcast on UNICOM. Andreas Fuchs Posted June 15, 2019 at 06:09 PM Posted June 15, 2019 at 06:09 PM Yes, you can do this. Just create a UNICOM-channel in Euroscope, but only connect to it with TXT receive, no voice. Is it possible to send a message over UNICOM such as "Toronto Tower logged online, 118.7" without broadcasting on your main frequency? Andreas Fuchs Posted June 15, 2019 at 10:17 PM Posted June 15, 2019 at 10:17 PM No, I do not think so, because that will be a secondary frequency only. I'd just go ahead and broadcast this information, who cares if people on yourTWR-frequency can read it.
