Cameron Peterson Posted July 6, 2019 at 03:40 AM Posted July 6, 2019 at 03:40 AM hello- just curious if anyone can help with setting up the capture display for streamlabs obs or regular obs for streaming ATC from VRC. I have tried window captures and game captures, however, streamlabs has not been able to recognize the VRC window. It just captures a black screen. An obvious solution would be to use display capture, but with only one monitor it would capture TeamSpeak and our IDS. thanks
Andreas Fuchs Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:15 AM Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:15 AM Hey Cameron, you may want to start searching for tutorial videos on YouTube, there are quite a few. If you get stuck, let us know and we might be able to help. Nestor Perez Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:25 AM Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:25 AM Hey Cameron! Happened to me a while ago as well. To be honest, I don't remember how I solved it, but I recall something along the lines of "both programs (OBS and the one being captured) have to be using the same graphics processing unit. Else, it may just show a black screen". Hopefully that can help. Me.
Reese Norris 1401247 Posted July 19, 2019 at 10:47 PM Posted July 19, 2019 at 10:47 PM A solution would be to use the actual display output of your whole screen, which includes VRC. I've streamed with that before.
Kevin Yang Posted September 22, 2019 at 07:02 PM Posted September 22, 2019 at 07:02 PM If whatever you're using for ATC is being run as administrator, OBS must be run as administrator. Captain Kevin
