On July 20th, 1969, Neil Armstrong, commander of Apollo 11 walked on the Moon, successfully achieving the goal set by President Kennedy in 1961. This historic event showcased the engineering prowess of more than 400,000 people who worked tirelessly on three different space programs: Project Mercury, Gemini and Apollo.

For the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing, we will provide air transport for Canadian astronauts to Neil Armstrong’s birthplace in Wapakoneta, Ohio.

Canadian Xpress would like to invite all pilots to join us on Saturday, July 20th between 10h00edt (14h00z) & 13h00edt (17h00z) and 21h00edt (Sunday 01h00z) & 24h00edt (Sunday 04h00z) for our July 2019 fly-in where we will fly from Chris Hadfield Airport (CYZR) in Sarnia, Ontario to Auglaize County Neil Armstrong Airport (KAXV).

These two airfields are relatively small, so small business jets, turboprops or general aviation aircraft would be more suitable for this task.

This is an open invitation to all pilots no matter what your flying experience to attend this Canadian Xpress event that will be flown on the VATSIM network.

One lucky Canadian Xpress pilot will win:

• Any Real Flight Shop Product (Maximum $50.00 USD) from:

More information regarding this event including operational details, charts, optional add-on scenery and Canadian Xpress Model Sets can be viewed by visiting www.CanadianXpress.ca or by directly downloading our Fly-In docomeent here.

See you all on Saturday the 20th!
