I left all of my roles with VATUSA to be a simple controller because I was not having fun and will not be dictated to about how much time I *must* spend online. When it comes to my life, the computer takes second fiddle to my family and work. Absolutely. More and more of the senior guys who would actually be any good at management are sane enough to stay out of the VATUSA bureaucracy. I know a few people who have said the exact same thing as you.
