Matt Woychak 974849 Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:34 AM Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:34 AM WHY DO I KEEP GETTING KICKED OUT WHEN FLYING?
Matthew Horan 901577 Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:42 AM Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:42 AM First, calm down. Its the servers burping. Get used to it; this is a free network, and volunteers take time out of their personal lives to deal with these problems. If you don't like it, ask for your money back. I don't complain when it happens, I re-connect on a different server and continue controlling. If the above sounds harsh, sorry - but the way you write in all capitals, and the way you say "ALL THE TIME" rubs me the wrong way Matt www.vatsim.net/prc
Matt Woychak 974849 Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:46 AM Author Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:46 AM no no no, I am not mad at all sorry for the caps, Its just that I get kicked out just about every two mins. Wondering if I had done something wrong. Once again sorry I was not trying to sound like a jerk. You all do a great job here. Matt
Matthew Horan 901577 Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:50 AM Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:50 AM Text is such a useless medium when it comes to conveying tone of voice. The only thing that really comes across is CAPITALS when yelling, or excessive exclamation points !!! Had you done something wrong, you would get a message from a Supervisor or Administrator, or even the controller you were dealing with. You would not get disconnected by a person without notice (Notice being a private message). Sadly, the same cannot be said for the servers Matt www.vatsim.net/prc
Ruth McTighe 824054 Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:39 PM Posted August 3, 2006 at 12:39 PM Which servers have you tried? Sometimes one particular server will have a lot of problems (usually UK1 which handles much of the translatlantic link), in which case changing server will solve your problem.
