Ruth McTighe 824054 Posted August 7, 2006 at 07:43 PM Posted August 7, 2006 at 07:43 PM Depends what you mean by a club. If you're looking for a VFR flying club, then have a look at the Cix VFR Club. We fly out of Gloucester on Tuesdays and Biggin Hill on Thursdays. See http://www.cixvfrclub.org.uk/ for details (it's been a bit quiet over the summer, but will liven up as winter draws on). Lewis Haldenby 974268 Posted August 8, 2006 at 10:20 PM Author Posted August 8, 2006 at 10:20 PM Yeah, that's the kind of club I was looking for! Is there a directory of clubs like that anywhere on the VatSim or VatSim UK site? Pity Tuesdays and Thursdays are no good for me...
Ruth McTighe 824054 Posted August 9, 2006 at 09:52 PM Posted August 9, 2006 at 09:52 PM Thereare very few VFR clubs. The only other ones I know of are the Virtual Bristol Flying Club ( http://www.vbfc.co.nr/ ) and the Thames Flying Club ( http://www.thamesflyingclub.org/ ), but thae latter hasn't been seen much of recently.
