Below lists the Responsibilities/Duties: Responsible to: Iran vACC Director and his/her Deputy Position Duties: Facilitate the smooth and active operation of the vACC Events Responsible for the regular organizing, promotion and the execution of the vACC events. Initiate collaboration with other VATSIM vACC’s and Divisions for events on behalf of Iran vACC. Develop relationships with other VATSIM vACC’s, VA’s and as well as provide support for their events. Actively promote Iran vACC through VATSIM Forums and by communicating with VA’s and send them invitations. Promote events of Iran vACC through social media, VATIR portal, VATME HQ, VATSIM Forums, and others ( Vattastic, vroute) Make Quarterly reports of the Events and submit it to the vACC Director or Deputy Director. Send out emails to the vACC Members ( Pilots/ATC ) and keep them updated about the events. Update Iran vACC event status spreadsheet at all time. Maintain effective communication and work closely with other staff members. Board of VATIR Duties: Attend Board of VATIR meetings as outlined by VATIR Regulations. Maintain a regular monthly online presence and be willing to answer questions from members if connected with staff callsign Interact with other members of the Board of VATIR, and individual vACC Directors as needed to accomplish their individual and collective duties. Actively contribute to the development of VATIR policies, procedures and plans. Position Holder Attributes: Be a member of good standing in VATSIM for more than one year at the time of application. Demonstrated ability to make and keep commitments. Holding a minimum controller rating of S2 Having a good disciplinary record on VATSIM. Committed to maintaining a strong presence on VATSIM while holding the staff position. Must spend at least 3-4 hours per week for Event duties. Previous experience within any vACC or VA will be considered as a plus point. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both internally and externally, including on various VATSIM platforms and social media. Proficiency in English is a must as it is the working language of the VACC. Any other language would be considered as a plus. Must have good knowledge about creating banners for the event on any of the photo editing software. Interested!?
