nebojsa milosavljevic Posted August 29, 2019 at 09:32 AM Posted August 29, 2019 at 09:32 AM Somebody posted somewhere here on Vatsim, a link that had a bunch of U.S. airports that was showing live take-off/landing direction for those airports. Anybody know in which forum that was. nebojsa

Trevor Hannant Posted August 29, 2019 at 02:19 PM Posted August 29, 2019 at 02:19 PM Some of the US Facilities' websites have a runway "suggestion" tool such as this from New York: https://www.nyartcc.org/prc However, they're not widely available so I would use real world tracking tools to identify the runway in use and a good pair of eyes in your sim so that you're following everyone else at the airport you're planning to use Trevor Hannant
Alex Ying Posted August 29, 2019 at 03:32 PM Posted August 29, 2019 at 03:32 PM For airports that have it, you can also listen to the ATIS on LiveATC. (The LGA ATIS for example, is the first feed on the page https://www.liveatc.net/search/?icao=klga) Instructor // ZNY/ZWY Facility Coordinator

Tim Simpson Posted September 10, 2019 at 03:00 PM Posted September 10, 2019 at 03:00 PM Flightaware it about the best IMO. With it's default view, you see the traffic in blue (arriving), and green (departing), each with a history line behind it. Zoom in to the airport a bit, and you can see which are the active runways for landing and departing.
