Cross The Pond: Eastbound 2019 slot trading thread

Were you too late for a slot? Something unexpected popped up?

We feel your pain!

 

That is why we are creating an official slot trading thread, where all slot related topics - both requests and offers can be submitted.

 

How do do it:

 

SLOT DROPS:

 

  • - Fill out all applicable information, including departure and arrival airport codes and slot time in the comments of this thread.
    - Agree on a place to transfer the booking, preferably somewhere no one can "grab" it unintentionally.
    - Feel sad over the fact that real life has to be prioritized over this remarkable event, but do get your hopes up for a slot for the next event.

 

SLOT REQUESTS:

 

  • - Fill out the requested information - "less is more".
    - If someone with the booking that matches your requests responds, agree on a place to transfer the booking, preferably somewhere no one can "grab" it unintentionally.
    - Express uncontrollable emotions of overwhelming happiness and excitement.

 

Disclaimer: VATSIM does not take responsibility for lost slots. All tradings are final unless the recieving party says otherwise.

We also remind that offering or recieving goods of any kind, including money, gifts or other perks of any kind, without limitation in exhange for event slots is forbidden.

Hi!

 

I understand this post is very late but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to trade slots with me. I am looking for an early departure (7:45 EST or earlier) from JFK or BOS to Dublin or London. I'm willing to trade my 8:48 EST slot from YYZ to LHR. Thank you very much.

Check the website folks -- there are a few slots up for grabs. There are currently 3 available out of Orlando (2 to EKCH and 1 to EIDW). If you're looking for a slot, keep checking. Not everyone thinks to post here. (But @OP, great idea to have this thread!)

You'll have to go to the website and check. That can literally change every second, if people drop slots and people pick them up....
