Stephen Markham Posted October 14, 2019 at 09:13 AM Posted October 14, 2019 at 09:13 AM I downloaded the newest version 2.3.2, double clicked the setup.exe and got an error about the programme not being able to write to 'eventbroker.dll' , had the choice to 'abort', 'retry' or 'ignore' , had to choose abort. No luck since trying several more times. Anyone with an idea of what to do now would be welcome to comment. Thanks

Stephen Markham Posted October 15, 2019 at 01:47 AM Posted October 15, 2019 at 01:47 AM Sounds like vpilot hung during the update. Check your task manager for any vpilot.exe processes and try the update again. Cheers Gary[/quote Hi Gary Thanks for that , looks like that was the problem, I updated to newest ver 2.4 everything looks ok, except I can’t seem to join a .com. I went to KATL this morning , where there was a lot of activity, tried to join .com1 121.9 but no response to say I had joined. I can hear airport sounds but no ATC . Maybe it’s just not working for anyone yet, but can’t see that to be the case. When reloading vPilot I got an error message saying ‘ unexpectedError Calling waveInOpen’ . Any thoughts on that, thanks.
Stephen Markham Posted October 16, 2019 at 03:24 AM Posted October 16, 2019 at 03:24 AM Which operating system? Chris. I'm using Windows 10. vPilot ver 2.4. after loading the app, I get this message. "UnspecifiedError calling waveInOpen" which seems to stop me from hearing ATC. The TX and RX buttons are greyed out, but I am able to use text to talk with ATC. I have tried reinstalling vPilot a few times with no success. There are no switches to use in my aircraft apart from the Avionics master power switch. King Air Beech 200 from FlightOne. Any thoughts ? Thanks with regards Stephen
Sergiy Pylypenko 1144122 Posted October 16, 2019 at 03:39 AM Posted October 16, 2019 at 03:39 AM The First , upgrade vPilot to the latest version - 2.4.0. Second, check audio setting in vPilot. Voice output and input. They have to be properly set - the name of the device in your vPilot audio settings should be in a line with what you really using with your computer. It helped my
