Quinten Goderis 1245007 Posted October 14, 2019 at 04:11 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 04:11 PM Hi An admin just announced on the network that there was an update for the standalone client which we needed to install by restarting the client. I did so and after the update I am unable to transmit on any frequency. The TX light does not light up. However, my PTT button is instantly recognized in the settings. Justin Hartman 1393172 Posted October 14, 2019 at 09:33 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 09:33 PM I am completely lost, in this new AFV crossover... I have been using XSquawkBox, and all of the forums or information about updates and what IS or IS NOT working, is all confusing. I have downloaded the new AFV standalone client, but it is not an executable program for install on a Mac. Where do I put the AFV Standalone client file? And can I still use XSquawkBox? The only thing you can do right now for MAC is use Swift. The standalone client is only for Windows right now, I think I read a post yesterday or the day before that Swift released an Alpha (or Beta) version of native integration with AFV. I'm not sure if XSquawkbox will have native AFV integration or not, I would [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume so eventually but right now if you are on MAC you need to use Swift (afaik).
