Peter Nolin 954217 Posted August 9, 2006 at 11:18 PM Posted August 9, 2006 at 11:18 PM Some goodielinks I've collected since I bought X-Plane a while ago. Communitys: http://x-plane.org/ (Must have) http://www.xplanefreeware.net/ (Must have) Addons: http://www.stratmann-web.net/xplane/x737_website/Home.html (Really nice heavy metal) http://x-plane.org/home/tdavis/scenery8/xp8scenery.html (Well known creator of quality airports) http://xpsrtm.com/ (Extra scenery, good if you fly outside the area the global scenery covers) http://www.xpgoodwayteam.org/ (Some nice addons) Devstuff / other stuff: http://xplanescenery.blogspot.com/ (Interessing devtalk from the creators) http://xsquawkbox.net/ (Home of XSquawkbox, the plugin SDK, scenery SDK and more) http://www.xpluginsdk.org (co-autor of the SDK has his own page. Pierre Theillere 861704 Posted August 12, 2006 at 05:08 PM Posted August 12, 2006 at 05:08 PM Hi all! 1°) There's a freeware plugin called "XNO2", available from http://www.x-plugins.com/plugins/xno2/ that enables you to use the Garmin GPS simulators http://www.garmin.com/aviation/ (click on "Free Simulators")... or even a real GPS unit linked to X-Plane. Yes, I know X-Plane features some Garmin units... but they're only a joke compared to theese ones! 2°) The following website has been mentioned just above, but on http://www.xpluginsdk.org/pilot_view.htm you'll find an amazing plugin that enables you to use your TrackIR with "Vector Expansion"... it's amazing, only drawback is that I feel sick after 30 minutes! 3°) The "easy to use" SimplePushBack plugin http://snigelserver.mine.nu/x-plane/ 4°) Last, don't miss also http://www.xtwr.net to keep in touch with X-Tower, the upcoming new ATC software for VatSim, that's a plugin that will be able to turn X-Plane into a GND / DEL / TWR control station! Enjoy! Pierre, LFPG, STV1010
