William Teale Posted October 15, 2019 at 06:27 AM Posted October 15, 2019 at 06:27 AM I see from the docomeentation that the system is designed to work as close to FAA practice as is reasonable. For those of us outside the US, simulating small towers that record a voice ATIS, how can we do this with vATIS? If this isnt currently possible, when will it be? Justin Shannon Posted October 15, 2019 at 01:44 PM Posted October 15, 2019 at 01:44 PM Yes, it's possible... looks like I forgot to include it in the docs. In the facility configuration (CTRL + F) enable the "voice recorded ATIS" checkbox. This will enable the "RECORD ATIS" button on the main vATIS window. Bernardo Reis Posted October 29, 2019 at 12:19 AM Posted October 29, 2019 at 12:19 AM What about those vACCs where you have recorded the real audio from the ATIS?
Yanick Coulombe 965064 Posted October 30, 2019 at 03:06 AM Posted October 30, 2019 at 03:06 AM It really was a pain to maintain, and you would never know when an obscure meteorological not yet recorded would creep up on you. I'm glad all that s behind! Yanick Coulombe (965064)Webmaster - FIR de Montréal[email protected]fly.czulfir.com
