A Question about Servers

hello,

I just signed up to vatsim.net.. I've a question about the servers:

e.g. I log in on the Europe West server. I fly from Zurich to Tokyo. In Tokyo there is a controller, he's online on the Asia server. Do I see him? Or do I have to switch servers somehow?

other example: I'm waiting to taxi in Zurich. I'm on the Europe West server. While I taxi someone who is logged in on the Asia server is approaching Zurich. Do we see each other?

Are these servers just different "access points" to the same network, or are all these servers independent "mini-networks"?

I hope you understand my question. Thank you in advance

Just to make sure you found the correct answer, all of the servers on the network are inter-connected so it doesn't matter to which server you and ATC are connected. You will still be able to hear/communicate with one another. The same is true for other pilots flying within your visual range. You will be able to see them as well.
