Hello, im new to this thing .

I installed everything like the tutorials and watched many vídeos and read many articles how to do this right and set up te Vpilot program.

Now i can connect to the server i can see other white planes but cant hear anyone and i cant use my push to talk button

I logged in as observer and that message appears: Error connecting to voice server: Connect failed (Forbidden -

I can only see text messages with ATC.

I believe I read somewhere else that you have to wait up to 24hr's before the database updates. Though getting a little worried since I reactivated my account yesterday, but still getting the forbidden message

Hi, any luck? I've only just reactivated a few hours ago and have the same problem, does it eventually sort itself?

The sync from the registration database to the network servers can take up to 24 hours, and then the sync from the network servers to the voice server can take up to another 24 hours. So that means to rule out any other issues, one must wait 48 hours from the most recent p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word change. Last I heard, the development team is aware that this is less than ideal and wants to improve how that process works to reduce the wait -- but, it's not the top-priority issue they're working on as of this writing. (Note -- I'm summarizing based on conversations I'm aware of from being one of the testers; I'm not part of the Dev team myself.)

Cheers,
-R.
