Christopher Hallam 1301170 Posted October 16, 2019 at 02:20 AM Posted October 16, 2019 at 02:20 AM When I load into the sim with the LES Saab 340, and I try to use X Pilot with it, the two do not seem to go together very well. In the attached screenshot, you can see that the radio frequencies are not showing up in X Pilot, even if they are tuned into my aircraft. Are the two compatible? http://prntscr.com/pjuinq
Robert Shearman Jr Posted October 16, 2019 at 02:43 AM Posted October 16, 2019 at 02:43 AM Is your master avionics switch turned on? Cheers, -R.

Luke Brown Posted October 16, 2019 at 06:58 AM Posted October 16, 2019 at 06:58 AM And you have com1/2 mic and headphone selected with the volume turned up? [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume that you are in the real aircraft and you must have the radios set up as you would IRL. Unlike previous clients, Xpilot looks for all of these things before tuning the frequency selected. [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming you’ve done all that, it may be the S340 uses different data refs to those Justin has already come across, which, if you know what they are, you could report them on here so he can add them to the list. Austin Cirulli Posted October 16, 2019 at 01:03 PM Posted October 16, 2019 at 01:03 PM The SAAB 340 is compatible. I flew it as my first AFV flight the other night, and I had almost the same issue you did. There are three avionics switches on the overhead panel, just make sure you have those on (not sure which one drives the radios, but for now let's be safe). Secondly, look to your left, there's an audio panel with sliders that go up and down for COM1, COM2, NAV1, ect. Pull the COM1 slider UP. You should be setup if you've done that. Remember, AFV looks at your radios, so if they aren't setup correctly (powered, VHF panel selecting a radio unit) then you won't hear anything. Just like in the real world! Christopher Hallam 1301170 Posted October 17, 2019 at 03:23 AM Author Posted October 17, 2019 at 03:23 AM I figured it out. Apparently, the radios will not work if you do not have power coming from the engines. I was trying to get the radios to work with the Ext Power on, but nothing would come out. However, once I turned on the engines and its generator, the radios worked.
